Academy of Medical Sciences, 41 Portland Place



The project entailed the refurbishment and adaptation of 41 Portland Place, an 18th Century Grade II* Listed Georgian townhouse, as the new headquarters for the Academy of Medical Sciences, one of the four national Academies in the UK. 
Facilities include workspace for Academy staff, a 50 person lecture room, conferencing facilities, reception, exhibition and meeting room facilities, a Fellows’ room, supporting catering and ancillary facilities.
Complete internal and external refurbishment and fit out works were carried out to all six floors of the 2,000m² building at a cost of just under £3.2 million.
