Category A and B Fit Out of 155 Bishopsgate

Fanshawe were Quantity Surveyors on this prestigious fit out for Axa Investment Managers Limited at 155 Bishopsgate in the City of London.  The Contract Works included the strip out of the existing floor plate and a fit out to Category B, also including the refurbishment of part of the Ground Floor at Axa's existing Newgate Street offices.
The Category A and B fit out included a large number of workstations in open plan areas together with cellular offices and meeting rooms.  The project incorporated a large reception area with an adjoining client meeting room suite - this included a Telepresence Room, video conference rooms, boardroom and other meeting rooms (all of which were equipped with sophisticated audio visual facilities).  The floor also incorporated a fully protected Comms Room, an IT Build room, a pantry, central vending/breakout areas, various copy/print and tea point areas and stores.  Additional toilet and shower facilities were also installed as part of the fit out.
The Main Contractor completed the works in a programme of 18 weeks under a JCT Standard Building Contract Without Quantities.  This included Sectional Completion for the Newgate Street works and the Comms Room works.
These works were completed on time and within Axa's budget.
